This example shows how flow can be used to create task by adding rule or criteria and associating action with that criteria.

In The following example the flow is designed to trigger when a travel request (launch entity) is updated (1 )

Then the Criteria/Rule is to set up to check whether the Travel Request is set to a specific status, in this case Approved (2).

If the Rule criteria evaluates to TRUE, then the associated Action (3) executes.


Note: Once an Action Type is created, it may not be deleted if it is used by other records.

Note: We can set multiple Rule criteria and associate separate action to each criteria. For Example, the same flow can also check if a Travel Request has been denied and associate a different action.
